This is how to make a launcher out of a cheap mechanical pencil. • Remove the ‘body’ out of the pencil. The ‘body’ is the part that you press on to get the lead to come out. You know, the part with the eraser.. • You should now have a ‘body’, a pencil ‘shell’, and a spring. If you don’t have the spring, tip the ‘shell’ over and let the spring come out. • If you haven’t already, tip out all the lead from the pencil ‘shell’. • Put the spring back in the pencil ‘shell’ and the ‘body’ on top of that. Push down on the ‘body’ and release the pressure quickly. It should go flying.
