You can buy a matte black spray. I would get 2 cans. Lightly ‘dust’ over with spray about 6 inches away, keeping the can on the move from right to left. The secret is to be careful not to rush between coats and dont be tempted to go over everything too quickly. You must let everything dry off before going on to the next coat.(ABOUT 5 MINUTES) Hang the guitar up so that you can walk all round it and keep moving the spray can backwards and forwards….never linger in one place for more than a second. Give about 15 coats. You need 15 for wearing. Otherwise rubbing and friction will go through too quickly.
