Cut off the hemmed edges of the bed sheet. Cutting lengthwise, cut three eight-inch wide strips from the sheet. Shampoo your horse’s tail and apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner. While the tail is still slightly damp, divide the hair into three equal portions just below the horse’s tailbone.
