How Do You Create A Gradient Preset In Photoshop?
Adobe Photoshop CS3 allows you to create a custom gradient and then save it as a gradient preset. Doing this allows you to use this gradient repeatedly in future Photoshop projects. Start Adobe Photoshop CS3 and open an existing document from your files or start a new blank canvas. Choose the “Gradient” tool from the Photoshop toolbox on the left side of the screen. The “Gradient” tool is paired with the “Paint Bucket” tool so you may have to hold down the “Paint Bucket” tool button and choose “Gradient tool” from the pop-up list. Once you have selected the “Gradient” tool, the properties for the tool will be displayed on the “Option” bar that is at the top of the screen, right beneath the “Menu” bar. Use the properties on the “Option” bar to create a custom gradient. You can control the type of gradient, gradient mode, color of the gradient and opacity. Click the arrow beside the first option on the Option bar to open the “Tool Preset Picker.” This will display the current preset you
