Remove the wood panel from the kitchen cabinet door. You will need to use a router to remove the outer edge of the door that is keeping the wood panel in place. Do this carefully and do not rout the wood panel. You may decide that you would like to replace the panel later. If your kitchen cabinet doors are solid and do not have a panel, it is usually best to replace the doors with glass fronted doors. Remove debris and glue from the inside edge of the cabinet door.
