How Do You Create A Frankenstein Costume?
If you’re looking for a classic monster costume, consider a Frankenstein costume. It’s moderately easy to make a Frankenstein costume with some items you may already have in your house. Take an old dark-colored or black suit coat or buy one at the local thrift store. Also find some fabric remnants from the sewing pile or the remainder bin at the local fabric store. Cut the fabric into squares with rough edges. Glue the fabric squares onto the coat in a random pattern. Glue one on the front of the coat, one on the elbow and a couple on the back. Attach homemade shoulder pads to the inside of the suit coat for the Frankenstein Halloween costume. Use an old pair of socks or a pair of old shoulder pads from a shirt or coat. Add fake chain links around the cuffs of the sleeves. These can be made from an old chain link belt or a plastic chain, or you can paint them on with silver paint. After the glue dries, roll up the coat and store it under a couch cushion to make it nice and wrinkled. Ta
