Creating a feather marbling effect on pottery pieces is remarkably easy, but it’s messy, so be prepared to deal with spilled and dripping paints. No two feather marbled pieces will be alike. The more you practice your feather marbling technique the more intricate and sophisticated your designs will become. Drizzle one of your colors into your pottery piece in a random fashion. Work over newspapers or a deep sink. Do not cover your piece with color in a uniform manner. Leave uncolored spaces.
