About 43% of Americans consider themselves “disorganized.” The pressure to become and stay organized is even greater when managing a family. If you want to improve how your household is organized, start with a written family schedule. Since it’s impossible to account for each member’s individual schedule in one tidy format, just enter general tasks that each family member must complete each day, with a few specific details sprinkled in. Choose a location where you will post the family schedule. It’s best to post the schedule in your kitchen, rec room, or family room where everyone visits frequently.
