How Do You Create A Door With Rust Texture?
Rust can be rendered using any graphics program that has cloud rendering, grain texturing, unsharp mask, dry brush, noise filter, and rough pastels. One program that has all of these features is Photoshop CS and Elements. With the correct rendering, the rust texture on the door can look almost real. Pick a foreground color that’s brownish and a background color that is reddish. Use the clouds feature found under the render filters. Use the grain feature under the texture filters. Set the intensity to 60, the contrast to 65, and the grain type to speckle. Run unsharp mask at 455 with a radius of 5,4 and a threshold of 27. Run dry brush. Add noise under the noise filters. Run rough pastels under the artistic filters. Set the texture to sandstone and make the direction go diagonal. Add noise to give the image a gritty look.
