Apple’s iTunes is a popular music software application used by millions of people around the world. Using the software, people can listen to music, watch movies, download podcasts, and listen to internet radio. iTunes enthusiasts can also create custom playlists that contain their favorite tunes in one place. Here’s how. From the Apple iTunes top menu, select File > New Playlist. The words “untitled playlist” appear at the bottom of the Playlists section in the left navigation column. Type a title for the new playlist. Add descriptive words such as “Jazz Favorites” or “Best of the 80’s.” Under Library at the top of the left navigation column, click Music. Your music list appears, displaying all iTunes music files. These may be singles or entire albums. Click and drag the desired music files into your new playlist. Click the new playlist in the left navigation column. Sort music by title, duration, artist, album, genre, rating, play count, or last played.
