This article will teach you how to create custom brushes in Photoshop. To create custom brushes in Photoshop the task is fairly easy is your fairly familiar with the Photoshop working environment. First thing is to create a new document in photoshop and make sure you have checked the white background box in the dialogue window. After that, create a new layer. On the new layer make a black square or any basic geometric shape of your choice. (If you choose a different shape other than the one specified your end result may vary). After that go to FILTER>DISTORT>TWIRL and enter a value of 500. Next create another new layer and make a white square, slightly smaller than the black square. Hit CMTRL+F to repeat the TWIRL affect to this layer. After this merge those two layers, and then select the rectangular marquee tool to select the shapes we just made. Now go to EDIT>DEFINE BRUSH PRESET. Give your brush a name and then you’re done! You can now go to your brush palette and select your brush
