How Do You Create A COLUMN CHART?
Well, it used to be called a Bar Graph, but in Excel 2007 it is now called a Column Chart. Nonetheless, this is a very useful chart and quite simple if you follow these steps. First, you will need to enter the data into the speadsheet that you need in the chart, if you have not done so already. Be certain to that the data is in column form. Next, highlight the data that will be displayed in the chart. This can easily be accomplished by using either the keyboard or the mouse. Finally, click on the INSERT ribbon tab and then click on COLUMN. There are two (2) main style options available: 2-D and 3-D. A drop down will appear with the different styles of charts that are available in each category, 2-D and 3-D. Determine the style that you would like to use and click on it.
