Charts are used everyday for business, schooling, you name it. They give a nice visual representation of data and whether or not the numbers look good or whether they look bad. Here is a simple step by step process on how to create a nice line chart in Microsoft Excel. Open up Excel. For our example we will use a blank sheet and type in our data that we are going to use. On the blank page type in the data just as how it is shown in the picture associated with this step. You will notice that our data is a representation of currency values by month and by year. I have added in some coloring and borders to my example to help you see more clearly what I am trying to do in this tutorial, however these extras are not needed when creating a chart.
