How Do You Create A 1920S Flapper Hairstyle?
Needing to find the perfect hairstyle to go along with a vintage outfit or your flapper costume? This style takes about 20-30 minutes and can be adjusted to go along even the the 1930s and 1940s looks! It’s best to work with hair that has not been washed that day. The hair will curl better and stay in the style longer. Part hair either to the left or right depending on where you prefer your bangs to fall. Take the part without your bangs and brush flat behind your ear and clip. Brush your bangs flat with the part and pin that aside. Lastly, take the rest hair along and tie back with a ponytail holder. You should have 3 equal sections of hair either tied or pinned back. We’ll work with hair in the front first. Take small sections of the combed over hair and apply product to them, curl them.
