How Do You Create 3D Backgrounds With Macromedia Fireworks?
A three-dimensional (3D) background adds depth to an image because the graphic is not displayed flat, but instead presents a more realistic-looking appearance, such as showing angles or shadows. Perhaps you want an eye-catching component on your webpage or maybe you need an appealing enhancement to your logo. Using Adobe’s Fireworks application (formerly Macromedia Fireworks), create the 3D background that you desire. Launch your Fireworks application and select “New” under the File menu to begin a new file. Click an auto-shape, such as “Rounded Rectangle,” on the Tools menu “Vector” area.
