Do you love horses or know someone who does? Then you know that one can ever have enough horses! Here is a very original idea for the horse lover that has every other kind of horse in their collection. This wooden horse is made from simple, natural materials: wood and jute twine, but you can add any kind of decorations to personalize your horse. You can make your horse any size although the samples shown an 8″ and a 5″ tall horse. To make an 8 inch tall horse: Choose a branch from a tree that is about 3 inches in circumference and cut a piece approximately 6 inches long for the body. Choose a smaller branch to cut a 3 inch long piece for the head. You will also need to cut 4 legs that are about 4 inches long. Don’t forget the neck…a 2-3 inch piece will do.
