Take your measurements to the nearest glass supply store and purchase the 1/4-inch machine-edged tempered glass, cut to your measurements. Paint the back surface of your tempered glass by rolling on a coat of high quality permanent binding glass paint in a color of your choice. Place wavy lines of clear silicone adhesive to the painted surface of your glass and press it into place over the old backsplash. Tape the piece of glass to the wall until the silicone sets. Remove the tape and apply a thin bead of the silicone around th
