Avid photo buffs often have boxes of slides lying around from their days of shooting film photography. With technological advances, home slide projectors are a thing of the past. So what do you do with all of those old slides? Using a flatbed scanner with slide attachment, you can convert all of your special slides to digital images that can easily be shared on the web and through email. Connect the scanner to your computer as directed by the manufacturer. Newer models usually attach with a USB connector through the USB port on the computer or monitor.
