How Do You Copy & Paste In Photoshop?

0

Photoshop is perhaps the most used graphics program on the planet. It has a wide range of tools, from basic to complex, to apply to any project. But sometimes simple is best. Let’s say you want to create an image that is a collage of several other images. You will need to extract the image from their originals to place them in the new image. To do this, you need to know how to properly use the Copy and Paste functions in Photoshop. Open Photoshop and open a document you want to copy from. Go to the “Marquee Selection” tool, and select a section of the image you want to copy. Or if you want the whole image, go to “Select” and click “Select All.” Open a new document in Photoshop. You will notice in the dialog box that pops up that the size for the new document is that same as the size of the selection you copied to the clipboard. You can leave it as it is or change it. Click “OK.” Go to “Edit” and click “Paste.” The selection you copied is now pasted into the new image on its own separat
