How Do You Copy Firefox Bookmarks To Another Hard Drive?
The Firefox bookmarks manager offers an easy to use interface for exporting your bookmarks database for backup purposes. Using the bookmarks manager, you can save your bookmarks to the local location of your choice as either an HTML file which can be imported into any number of other web browsers or as a database file compatible with Firefox. Using the database format, you can also save other information pertaining to the bookmarks, including access information and tags. Since the backup process prompts you to select a location to store the file, you can easily save your Firefox bookmarks to another hard drive. Launch Firefox. Click “Bookmarks” and “Organize Bookmarks.” Click “Import/Backup” and select your preferred backup method. “Backup” will create a file compatible only with Firefox, while “Export HTML” will create a file compatible with all browsers. Navigate to the backup hard drive, and save the file in the location of your preference.
