Go to “Start” at the bottom left-hand corner of the desktop, then “All Programs.” WordPad is located in the “Accessories” tab. When the program launches, you should see a blank screen. Navigate Windows Explorer to the file directory that you want to copy. Select it once in the Explorer window, so that it is highlighted. Click on it and drag the file over to WordPad.
