Going through a divorce or separation can be a very traumatic situation. Your emotional state of mind as well as your physical state could suffer as a result. A divorce can be very taxing mentally and emotionally and it can play havoc with your financial well-being. You have to prepare to live a life, at least temporarily, which is totally different from when you were married.
