How Do You Cool Down After A Kickboxing Workout?
Kickboxing, both as a fitness routine and competitive martial arts sport, requires strength and agility. Cooling down for 5 to 10 minutes after each workout ensures your body safely returns to its normal heart rate and allows you to stretch and relax your muscles and increase flexibility. Keep moving immediately after your workout ends to help avoid muscle cramps and unsafe drops in your blood pressure and heart rate. With your arms up to guard, bob and weave, keeping your abs tight, for 30 seconds. Move your right arm in a circle and then the left arm, stretching your shoulders. Circle your shoulders forward and backward and stretch your neck to release stress and pressure. In kickboxing, you punch and block throughout the workout so make sure to stretch your arm, shoulder and back muscles to avoid cramping. Do a warrior pose and a triangle pose. Stand and spread your legs a little more than shoulder width apart. Bend your right leg into a 90-degree angle, keeping your left leg straig
