Add light to your kitchen, assuming you are not totally blind. You will be able to read recipes more clearly, and it will aid you in finding ingredients. Set up your kitchen so you can find the right ingredients without actually seeing them. If you have some sight, consider placing bright stickers on items you use less frequently. If a recipe calls for a small quantity of fluid like extract, lemon juice or some other flavoring, consider measuring the right amount using an eye dropper instead of a measuring spoon that may be difficult for you to use.
