How Do You Cook Spaghetti And Meat Sauce With Less Fat?

Spaghetti can be a very delicious meal. It is very satisfying, but can be packed with fat. You should first cook your spaghetti noodles as directed. While they are cooking, put a pound of hamburger meat in to brown. Be sure to cook thoroughly. Drain your meat, then rinse with cold water. This process will remove the remaining fat from the meat. It reduces the grease, and fat intake. It does not alter the flavor of the meat at all. Place the meat back in the pan, then add your sauce. I use store bought, but you can make your own as well. Season to your preferred taste. You can then either mix the noodles and meat sauce, or keep in individual containers. Serve the meat over the noodles if you keep individual. You can serve with a nice salad with low fat dressing, or garlic bread with reduced fat butter.
