How Do You Cook Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo?

0

This is a simple pasta dish that reflects back on the original recipe created in the 1920’s by Alfredo di Lelio in Rome. This will be a more flavorful Alfredo sauce that you will make again and again!! Cook Fettuccine as directed on the package. Start this before you start to prepare the sauce because it will take longer. In a 6 quart sauce pot (on medium heat) slowly melt butter and gradually add Heavy cream using a whisk to mix. Add garlic and black pepper to the pot and continue to whisk. When the sauce heats and produces some bubbles it is time to add the Parmesan cheese. Slowly add the cheese whisking the entire time. The sauce is ready once the cheese has melted. However the sauce will be grainy with the cheese, it will not completely melt. Combine sauce and fettuccine in one pot and SERVE!!!!
