How Do You Cook Cheese On Toast?
• Put the grill on High (or whatever level you use for making toast). Never use a toaster, because the cheese will get stuck. A toaster oven also works really well. • Grate the cheese while you are waiting for the grill of oven to heat up. • Spread the cheese over two slices of bread so it covers all the edges. • When the oven is hot, put the bread on the grill. Pull out the grill every two minutes until the cheese is perfectly toasted. If you prefer, you can toast both sides of the bread first, as is the tradition of ‘Cheese on Toast’. • When the bread is toasted to your liking, turn off the grill or toaster.
