Learn how to easily cook black beans in a pressure cooker with these simple steps. First, you will need to rinse the beans to remove any dirt or debris from them. After the beans are rinsed they must be soaked. This can be done one of two ways: 1- Quick soak; Place beans in a pot and add water so you have about an inch of water covering the beans. Bring water to a rapid boil and boil for two minutes. Remove from heat. Cover the pot and let the beans stand one hour. After one hour drain the water and rinse the beans. 2- Long Soak; Place beans in a pot with cold water so the water is covering the beans about one inch. Cover and let sit for 6-8 hours at least (I usually do 24 hours). Drain the water and rinse the beans.
