How Do You Cook Bacon In The Microwave Oven?
Crispy cooked bacon on a BLT or with breakfast is awesome. However, the mess it makes when made on the stove top is next to impossible to get clean. I have tried all the gadgets for cooking bacon in the microwave. I have found that, NONE OF THEM WORK. Here is my easy, quick method for the best results. Keeping the sheets of paper towel attached to each other; remove 6 sheets from the roll. In a single layer, place the raw bacon on top of the stack of 5 sheets of paper towel. Leaving the 6 sheet as a cover. Cover with the 6th sheet of paper towel. Place in the microwave oven. Cook for 5 minutes on high power. Check for done ness. Continue to cook at one minute intervals until desired crispness is achieved. Clean up is as easy as tossing the used paper towel in the trash. And wiping inside of microwave oven with a damp cloth.
