If you like artichokes like I do (simply pull off the leaves and dip in butter sauce) here is how to have them ready in 5 minutes, and they will be perfect every time. Rinse artichoke briefly under water. Cover tightly in plastic wrap or place in plastic bag and twist end of bag to create a tight cover, tucking this beneath artichoke to hold in place. Place wrapped artichoke inside microwave and cook on high for 5 minutes. When done, remove from oven and carefully remove from plastic covering. Artichoke will be ready to eat.
