How Do You Cook A Boneless Pork Roast & Sauerkraut In A Convection Roaster?
A convection oven, or roaster, will cook a 4 pound pork roast and a sauerkraut side dish in less than 2 hours. By using the convection roaster, you avoid heating up the kitchen using your traditional oven, and cleanup afterward is a breeze. There are a number of different convection roasters on the market today, but all work in basically the same way. Assemble the roaster according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This is usually done simply by placing the glass oven into the base and then inserting the lower rack. Trim all visible fat from the pork roast using a sharp knife. Place the roast in the center of the cooking rack in the oven. Place the lid on the convection roaster and secure in place. Set the temperature setting to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Set the timer to 1 hour. Turn on the roaster. Most convection roasters have a 1 hour maximum time, and you will need to reset it a second time for the roast to fully cook. Remove the lid of the roaster at the end of the 1 hour cooking
