How Do You Convert WPD To Word?
WPD is the default proprietary file format of the Corel WordPerfect word processing program. If you want to convert a WPD document to the more widely used Microsoft Word format, you have three options: use Word and save the file to a different format, use the free and open-source OpenOffice Writer program and save the file to a different format, or run the file through the Zamzar online conversion utility. All three methods allow you to switch formats quickly. Open Microsoft Word. Press the “Ctrl” and “O” keys simultaneously. Click the file format drop-down menu, select the “All Files” option, locate your WordPerfect document, and double-click its icon to import it into Microsoft Word. Click “File” in the top menu bar and select “Save As.” In Word 2007, click the “Office” button at the top-left corner of the screen and select “Save As.” Give the file a name, select a save location, and click the “Save as type” drop-down menu.
