How Do You Convert Weather Into Fahrenheit & Celsius?
While the United States uses Fahrenheit for temperature, much of the world uses Celsius. There is a simple formula for converting Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa. This can be particularly useful in Europe, where you are likely to encounter Celsius temperatures. Write down “9/5” or type it into your calculator. As a decimal, “9/5” is represented as “1.8.” Multiply “9/5” by the Celsius temperature. Add “32” to the number you get after step 2. This will be the Fahrenheit temperature. Write down or type into your calculator the Fahrenheit temperature you want to convert. Subtract “32” from the Fahrenheit temperature. Divide the number you receive after step 2 by “5/9,” which is represented by “0.556” as a decimal. You now have converted Fahrenheit to Celsius.
