How Do You Convert Wave Files For CD Recording?
Audio CDs that play in home or auto CD players use the CDA (CD Audio) file type for each track. In order to convert wave files to CDA files, a CD burning application such as Nero Burning Rom or Roxio Easy Media Creator may be used. The CD burning software offers conversion capabilities, not just for wave files, but for MP3, WMA and other audio files as well. Click the Windows “Start” button and select the CD burning software program link. Click the “Audio” or “Audio CD” option to begin the creation of an audio CD. Click the “Create Audio CD for Home or Audio CD Player” option. Click the “Add Music” or “Add Files” button, depending on the application, to add the wave files to be converted. Drag and drop, or double-click, each wave file to add to the CD burning interface. Insert a blank CD into the CD burner on the computer. Click the “Burn” (red) button to begin the conversion and CD burn. A progress bar will display. Click the “OK” button once the conversion and burning process is comp
