Here are a few tips to converting your WAV file into an MP3 that You can easily convert WAV files into an MP3 using the Sound Recorder Program in Windows. Locate the program by going to Start, then Accessories and Entertainment. The program is listed as Sound Recorder. Once the file is loaded into Sound Recorder, go to File on the tool bar and hit Save As. Next, you will have to change the File type by changing the format. Click Change and select MPEG Layer-3 from the sound selection. You may now use your newly converted MP3 file on portable music devices or burn it to a CD.
