How Do You Convert Video Cassettes To DVD?
Moving content from video cassettes to DVDs can preserve precious memories on a longer-lasting digital medium. Old videos lose picture quality over time and become brittle, increasing the chance the tape will snarl inside the VCR. Connect the VCR’s AV OUT or playback jacks to the AV input jacks on the converter box, using the yellow plug for the video connection, the white plug for left audio and the red plug for the right-channel audio. Connect a USB cable to the USB port on the covnerter box and a free USB port on the computer. Open the video recording software on the computer by double-clicking the name, then click the “File” tab at the top of the screen and choose “New Recording Project” or similar wording, depending on the program. Load a videocassette in the VCR and press “Play” if the tape does not start automatically.
