How Do You Convert Quicktime Movies To Ipod Movies?
Apple has made it exceptionally easy to convert movies from QuickTime, its own proprietary media format, to a special format that allows the video to be played on its iPod line of media players. The capability is built into QuickTime Pro, the premium version of the desktop media player that ships with the Mac OS operating system. A QuickTime license is available from the Apple Store online for a $29.95 fee. Launch QuickTime Pro if it has not been launched already. Click on “File,” then “Open File.” A dialog will open that will allow you to select a file to convert. Select it by double-clicking on it, and the dialog will close. Begin the conversion process by selecting “File,” then “Export,” with the movie file opened on the desktop. A dialog will open to allow for editing of the settings of the video. The only setting needed to be changed here is in the Export drop-down menu: change this to the “Movie to iPod” option. Click “Save.” Monitor the conversion process. Larger and higher-qual
