How Do You Convert PDF Editing On Scanned Documents?

0

The Adobe Acrobat application is required to convert a scanned Portable Document Format (PDF) document for editing. Adobe Acrobat is the application used to create and modify PDF documents. Adobe Acrobat’s features include the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) scan. The OCR engine will scan the PDF and convert image characters to rendered text. Once the text characters within the document are rendered, the text may be edited, while the formatting and font of the PDF is retained. Open the PDF to convert for editing in the Adobe Acrobat application. Click the “Document” link from the top navigation bar. Select the “Recognize Text Using OCR” option. Click “OK” to start the OCR engine. The OCR engine will scan the document and convert each image character into a text character. For ambiguous characters, a textbox will appear allowing the user to type the correct character or word. Type input characters and click “OK” when finished typing. The OCR engine will resume the scan. Repeat input
