Acronis Disk Director is a hard drive management program that allows you to perform both basic and intensive hard drive maintenance operations such as converting a partition from one file system to another. If you have an NTFS-formatted hard drive on a Windows system that you need to move to another computer, such as a Mac, convert the NTFS file system to FAT32 so the other computer can use the drive. Use Arconis Disk Director to change an NTFS partition to FAT32 for use with a non-Windows computer. Move all of the data that you wish to keep off the hard drive you are converting. This process will remove the existing NTFS partition from the hard drive, and all data currently on the drive will be lost. Launch Acronis Disk Director in manual mode. The initial screen that is displayed shows all of the partitions currently configured on the system, represented by yellow-and-blue lines.
