How Do You Convert Minutes To Hours?
• First, write down the number of minutes with the word ‘minutes’ next to it, like so (let X be any number of minutes): X minutes • Let’s write down how many minutes are in one hour and represent it as a fraction. This will be our method of converting units: 1 hour/60 minutes Multiply the number from Step 1 by the conversion fraction from Step 2: X minutes * 1 hour/60 minutes • Since the unit minutes cancels out with the unit minutes in the denominator of the conversion fraction, the resulting number will be the number of hours in decimal form.
