Since a DVD’s primary chapters or tracks are stored in its VOB files, you will need software that can isolate and convert the VOBs. (The largest VOB generally contains the feature movie.) Unfortunately, since your computer does not come equipped with such software, you must download or buy it from the Internet. These programs include AVS Video Converter, HandBrake and DVD Ripper for Mac. Please note that converting or compressing DVD quality footage to AVI may result in loss of video quality. Download and install AVS Video Converter. Agree to the licensing terms and launch the program. Insert your DVD into your computer.
