Have some old VHS tapes you want to convert to DVD? It can take some time to convert all your VHS tapes to DVDs, but you will save money. The process is easy if you follow these steps. Turn on your computer and the VHS player. Remove the audio/video cords that connect your VCR to your television. These are the three colored cords with three (white, red and yellow) jacks on each end. Place one set of jacks into the “Out” signal section of the VCR. Place the other end jacks into the “In” signal section of your video camera. Place the VHS tape into the VCR. Turn on your video camera. Set the video camera to play mode instead of record mode.
