How Do You Convert CDA To MP3 With Mediacoder?
MediaCoder is a free, open-source video and audio conversion utility available from SourceForge. MediaCoder is a very versatile tool and will convert tracks from CDs (CDA files) to MP3s, as well as several other file types, with a minimum of effort. MediaCoder may be downloaded from several sources (See Resources). Once the MediaCoder tool has been downloaded and installed, CDA tracks may be quickly converted to MP3 format in just a few simple steps. Insert the CD containing the CDA track to convert. Open the MediaCoder tool. Click the “Add Files” button. The file navigation interface will appear. Navigate to the CDA track to convert. Click on the track to enter it into MediaCoder. Click the “Browse” button labeled “Output Folder” near the top of the menu to specify the output location for the new MP3. Click the “MP3” option in the “Audio” drop-down box on the left navigation menu. Click the “Convert” button. The CDA track will be converted and saved as an MP3 file.
