How Do You Convert APE Into MP3?
APE is the Monkey Audio file type, which is not compatible with many software applications. If you have some APE audio files that you want to be able to use with a wider variety of programs and devices, you can convert your APE files into MP3 files. The quickest way to convert from APE to MP3 is using the free online file-conversion capabilities of Media Convert. Media Convert is a Web site that specializes in converting files at no cost. Go to the Media Convert Web site (see Resources). Click the button labeled “Browse” next to the “File” field to select the APE file you want to convert. Media Convert does not support multiple simultaneous file conversion, so if you have more than one APE file, you will have to convert them each separately.
