How Do You Convert An SWF To An FLA File?

0

FLA files are Flash files that can be edited directly, or they can have their content removed and used in other Flash projects as well, unlike SWF files. SWF files are Flash files that cannot be edited but can still be opened in Flash. If you have an SWF file that you need to edit or use parts of for another Flash project, you can convert the SWF file into an FLA file using Adobe Flash. Open up Adobe Flash. Go to “File” then “Open.” Use the window that appears to open up the SWF file you want to convert then double-click on it. Wait for the file to appear on your screen. Click on “File” then click “Publish” to open the publishing dialog. Name your file in the space provided at the bottom of the screen. Click the “Filetype” box below the space where you named the file and select “FLA file.” Click OK.
