How Do You Convert An ISO File To An MPEG1?
If you have ripped one of your DVDs as an ISO file, you will more than likely have to convert the ISO file into a playable video format. Playing ISO video files is possible and accepted by a few media players, but the MPEG1 file is much more playable in nearly all media players, including the Sony Playstation3, PSP, iPod, iPhone and many others. Download and install an ISO mounting software like Daemon Tools. The software will mount the ISO as a virtual disc drive. The computer will see the virtual disc drive as a DVD/CD drive on your computer, allowing you to play the ISO file as if it were a disc. Mount the ISO with the software you installed. If using Daemon Tools, click the Daemon Tools icon in the notification area, which is on the right side of the Windows taskbar, and click “Mount.” A new window will appear, and you can search for your ISO file.
