As home audio technology has become more and more advanced, analog cassette tape and vinyl record technology has become more and more outdated. However, avid music listeners, sometimes referred to as audiophiles, have become increasingly dedicated to preserving their cassette tape and vinyl record collections. One of the best ways to preserve your cassettes and records is to digitize them by recording them to a computer and converting the audio files to MP3 or WAV files. Connect the RCA end of the RCA to 1/8-inch adapter to the speaker outputs on the rear of your record player or cassette deck.
