How Do You Convert A NTSC Video To PAL?
The NTSC standard is the default North American video format for televisions, while PAL is the standard for Europe. The two differ in frame rates, as PAL offers 25 frames per second and NTSC 24 frames per second–which is one cause for their differences in resolution. Converting between the two formats is easy using a video converter that supports both formats, like AlSoft Video Converter, Zealotsoft Video Converter or 4U AVI MPEG Converter. All three offer a free trial download. Download and install ALSoft Video Converter. Accept the terms of use and launch the program. Click the “Sources” tab at the top of the main window. Press the “+ Add Video Files” button in the upper-left corner of the screen to launch a pop-up window and locate your input NTSC video. Double-click your movie’s icon to open it in ALSoft. Click the “Target” tab and select the appropriate PAL preset from the drop-down menu. Press the “Convert Now!” button. When prompted, name your file and choose a save location on
