How Do You Convert A MIDI To A Ringtone?
MIDI is an industry standard protocol that enables electronic musical instruments such as digital keyboards and sequencers to communicate with each other. MIDI files don’t contain actual audio data, but rather commands that let MIDI-capable devices re-create the music. Most cell phones cannot read MIDI files. Therefore, an MIDI file must first be converted to play as a ringtone. Download and install MIDI Converter Studio. Once installation has completed, launch the program. Click “Add Files” from the MIDI Converter Studio main menu. Browse to the folder and location of your MIDI file. Select the file that you want to convert to a ringtone, and click “Open.” Once selecting the file, it will be added to the conversion list. Click “Play” in the toolbar to preview the file.
