How Do You Control Motocross Bike During Jump?
“I’m Chris Kelley and we are here with Expert Village. If you are too far back you have no control. You are going to lose the front end and you are not going to be able to control. If you are too far forward, the backend is going to want to bounce and kick around. That is where if you are in the center you can work the bike. You can work it with your hips back, forward and get the feel. When you are going along through a whooped out area, a lot of times you can just go through the area on the power, keep your weight slightly back and let your suspension do the work. If there are bigger whoops sometimes you can double into them, triple, jump into one and double the next one but just for a natural roughed out area, you don’t want to maintain that attack position beyond the power of looking ahead. Look where you want to go and pick your line. Don’t just say I want to go to that turn and just wherever the bike ends up taking you go there. Look every little second where you want to go and g
